I am honored to receive support from the National Cultural Fund of Hungary (NKA) to continue documenting the athletes featured in my long-term project, which I have been working on since 2019.
The focus is on the Armenian cross-country skiing team from Ashotsk, a small village where these young skiers grow up facing significant challenges. This grant enables me to accompany them to their training camp in Finland, capturing their experience as they train and compete abroad.
Through this work, I aim to highlight the opportunities and hopes that sport brings to these athletes and their community, expanding on the story told in my ongoing series, Skiing In Their Blood.
