My series, ‘The Biggest Case of My Life’, won second place in the ‘Contemporary Issues (Series)’ category at the 43rd Hungarian Press Photo Competition.

The series documents the journey of Dániel Karsai, a Hungarian constitutional lawyer living with ALS who has become a prominent figure in the national euthanasia debate in Hungary.

The jury included international professionals such as Tamás Szlukovényi (Archive of Modern Conflict, Canada), Adrian Evans (Panos Pictures, UK), Petr Mlch (Czech News Agency), Radu Sigheti (Reuters, Romania), and Klára Szarka (curator and photo historian, Hungary).
