My photo series Adjon Isten, Señor! has received support from the National Cultural Fund of Hungary (NKA). The project documents how rural communities in Hungary are quietly changing through the presence of newcomers—people arriving from abroad for love, work, or a new beginning. The title, a centuries-old Hungarian greeting meaning “May God give you, Señor,” reflects this meeting of cultures and the evolving language of everyday life.
I’m grateful for this opportunity to continue working on Adjon Isten, Señor! and to share these nuanced, personal stories of belonging and transformation.
