I was honored to receive a scholarship to participate in the Sarajevo Seminar for Documentary and Narrative Practice 2021, organized by the VII Academy. Over nine months, this interdisciplinary program, led by Dr. Paul Lowe and Ziyah Gafic, helped me develop a lasting career in visual storytelling by exploring how to conceive, research, and plan compelling story ideas.
The seminar culminated in a one-week residency in Sarajevo, where it was truly inspiring to collaborate closely with talented international colleagues. This time together enriched my creative vision and deepened my connection to global documentary practices.
